Via Design, engaged as the designated design solution provider for CastleMedia, played a crucial role in facilitating the launch of NXT Digital’s Headend-in-the-Sky (HITS) platform, known as NXT DIGITAL (www.nxtdigital.in). Within just one year of its initiation in August 2016, the platform rapidly emerged as the largest in India, boasting a comprehensive offering of over 500 channels in both standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) digital quality. The platform efficiently transmits video content to local cable operators nationwide through satellite technology, employing MPEG4 digital quality for subsequent distribution to their wired customer base. Demonstrating expertise, Via Design not only delivered the entire design but also engineered the infrastructure, ensuring the teleport facility achieved an impressive 99.99% availability rate and incorporated full redundancy measures.
