Working against a very challenging deadline of launch of India’s first and largest Direct to Home television platform, Via Design pulled off a complex and highly technical design of Tata Sky’s broadcast centre. Designed as a Tier 3 data centre guaranteeing a 99.82 % uptime, design of this facility involved integrating recommendations and solutions of specialist consultants from a dozen countries into a unified and perfectly synchronized architectural solution. The facility includes the Data centre, master control room, audio visual studios, and conference facilities, along with associated support areas. External development includes a dish farm, with perfectly calibrated structural design that allows precise alignment for optimal satellite acquisition.
